Siena is probably one of those towns which every tourist visits when travelling in Tuscany, Italy. The most famous Piazza - the Piazza del Campo - is located just in the historic center of the town and is one of Europe's greatest medieval squares. It is renowned for its beauty and its shell-like shape. Further on, the square is not even but quite beveled which makes it a perfect way to sit down...

The main building at the square is the Palazzo Pubblico, which was started being built in 1297. Its 100 meter hight tower - the Torre del Mangia - is the second highest medieval tower in Italy and finally became the town's landmark.
