    Chicken Noodle soup

    2 cloves garlic
    1cm piece ginger
    1 onion
    1 carrot
    15ml oil
    375ml chopped raw chicken meat
    750ml chicken stock
1 can whole peeled tomatoes, chopped
    15 ml chili sauce
    50 g thin noodles

Peel and finely chop the garlic, ginger, onion and carrot. Fry these in the oil until the onion is translucent. Add the chicken, stock, tomatoes and chili sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add the noodles and simme until the noodles are cooked - about 5 minutes more.

Chicken soup combinations are limitless and chicken soup is a versatile dish. Remember that you can substitute turkey for chicken in most chicken soup recipes if you prefer it or if you fancy a change.
