India's Swine Flu Death Toll Rises
And Indias swine flu death toll continues to rise. There have been several reported cases in western parts of India, with one more death reported in the western city of Pune.
The swine flu epidemic claims another life in the Pune City in western India. Health department officials say the virus has spread across the country with dozens of cases from Pune City alone.
So far, the virus has claimed 14 lives in India and has infected around a thousand people.
In the nation's capital, New Delhi, more than 700 panic-stricken people stood at the special swine flu screening.

The H1N1 virus, commonly known as swine flu, emerged in April in the United States and Mexico, and has spread internationally. The virus has killed more than 800 people worldwide since emerging in April.
