"ONE THOUSAND!" If you answered one hundered and one it is incorrect. The number 101 should be spelled one hundred one.

my cool saber dear just write down numbers in words and then check. You will not get alphabet "A" upto 999. When you willl start counting you will get first "A" at thousand.

when u write down the numbers in words...like one two three four...
then the letter A doesnt appear till 999 or nine hundred ninety nine...
but the letter A is there in the word "thousand"

one more trivia is, that from words "one" to "ninety nine" there is no A, B, C or D..
    D appears in "hundred"
    (B appears in Billion...)

Vels was trying to say that for "101" we might write "one hundred and one" which has the letter A in the word "and"..but the correct way of writing 101 is "one hundred one"...so there is no A here...technically the letter A appears in the word thousand...

    hope that helps saber!!

When can you add 2 to 11 and get 1 as the correct answer?

How high would you have to count before you would use the letter "A" in the English Language spelling of a whole number?

The 22nd and the 24th Presidents of the US had the same mother and the same father, but were not brothers. How is that possible?

    Ohh Sorry My Mistakes...
