Sylvester Stallone 'alive and well' after being targeted by online death hoax

Sylvester Stallone has been forced to insist he is "alive and well" after falling victim to an online death hoax.
The Hollywood star rubbished rumours circulating on social media that he had died - the second time in 18 months he has been targeted.

In a post on Instagram, Stallone told his fans he was "still punching" and to "ignore this stupidity", while his younger brother Frank branded those behind the hoax "sick-minded people".

The fake death notice claimed the Rocky actor had died after a "secret" battle with prostate cancer, with photos of him looking unwell and balding. Frank has since confirmed the pictures show Stallone in make-up on the set of his film Creed.
