In January 2013 I went on a 6 Day dog sledding adventure in Kiruna, Sweden. I don't know how to describe it other than totally awesome. Such a great experience. Cold but not too cold, around -20C during the day and maybe -30ish at night. Snowed non stop most of the time, which means we rarely saw the sun or stars, but that was the trade off for slightly warmer temps. I booked the tour through Nature Travels in the UK. We had an awesome guide, Marcus, who really made the trip great. Saw the northern lights only one night unfortunately, but at least got good photos that night. The last day was a bit rough (deep snow and water on the lake ice), Marcus said it was the hardest day he's out that year.
