Slacker G2 Personal Radio Player

Slacker is back in business with its G2 Personal Radio Player that offers a fair number of improvements over its predecessor - for starters, it is 60% the size of the original without losing the edge in terms of viewing area. Other upgrades include better audio quality thanks to new equalizer features, a new pair of earbuds and a more intuitive interface. Battery life is said to be extended by another 25%. You can choose from 4GB or 8GB models that will retail for $200 and $250, respectively, with the ability to buffer from 25 to 40 Internet radio stations while providing additional space to store your own MP3/WMA/AAC tracks. You can also subscribe to premium radio in three-, six-, and 12-month subscriptions ranging from $30 to $90.
