Mirror Tiles can be purchased at most craft stores, they will be perfectly symmetrical though. I like the random shapes and since I had a broken mirror I smashed it up with a hammer into even smaller pieces. No I do not believe that it is 7 years bad luck. I've broken FAR TO MANY mirrors to believe in such myths.
Grout can be purchased at hardware stores such an Home Depot and Lowes as well as some craft stores. The grout that I used is Non-Sanded Polyblend Grout.
I have no idea what the difference between sanded and non-sanded grout is. Google it. The smaller canvases I used took about 15 minutes each to completely mirror and the larger ones took about 30 minutes each.
