Bar Hill is a purpose-built village with a population of 4,000 about 4 miles northwest of Cambridge, England on the A14 road. The Prime Meridian passes just to the west of Bar Hill.
The land between the Parish Council Office and The Octagon was donated to the village for a Memorial Garden which was designed and planned in conjunction with Year Six Citizens Group 2009/10 Bar Hill Community Primary School. It was officially opened in July 2011. The objective is that anyone can come and reflect and enjoy the garden. Memorial Plaques can be placed in the garden in memory of relatives/friends.
