A lady buys goods worth Rs.200 from a shop.

    Here is case 1
A lady buys goods worth Rs.200 from a shop.
(shopkeeper selling the goods with zero profit)
    ..
The lady gives him 1000 rs note.
The shopkeeper gets the change from the next
shop and keeps 200 for himself and returns
    Rs.800 to the lady.
    ..
Later the shopkeeper of the next shop comes with
the 1000 rs note saying "duplicate" and takes
    his money back.
    .
    .
How much LOSS did the shopkeeper face.?

Now here is the 2nd case.

A lady buys goods worth Rs.200 from a shop.
(shopkeeper selling the goods with zero profit)
    ..
The lady gives him 1000 rs note.
    The shopkeeper returns
Rs.800 to the lady from his cashbox.
    ..
    after sometime
the shopkeeper realized that the 1000 note of the lady
    was fake
    .
How much LOSS did the shopkeeper face.?

    here is the 3rd case
(shopkeeper selling the goods with zero profit)
A lady buys goods worth Rs.1000 from a shop.
    after some time ,
the shopkeeper realized that the 1000 note of the lady
    was fake
    .
How much LOSS did the shopkeeper face.?

when we calculate loss of shopkeeper , we will only count form his side , not from other sides. we will just calculate his transaction and his products.

first we will see case 3

in case 3 fake note of 1000 was given to the shopkeeper , and products of 1000 were taken away.
the fake note has no value , so consider it zero transaction or No transaction.
and products of 1000 were given to the lady , the products are owned by shopkeeper
so the loss of shopkeeper is 1000 rupees only.

in 2nd case , the shopkeeper took the fake note , paid 800 from cashbox , and product of 800 rupees gone.
fake note has no value , so this is not a transaction.
product and cash back 200+ 800 = 1000 , so total loss is 1000 rupees only.

in 1st case , just rename the "other shopkeeper" as CASH BOX
thats all. the total loss is still 1000 rupees

ji nhe , nuqsaan ki calculation theek nhe ki aap nay.

jaali note ki koi value nhe , uss ko consider nhe karein

jo value waali cheezein wo lay ker gai wo hein 800 ka cash aur 200 ki product

    800+ 200 = 1000
    aur yehi nuqsaan hai
