Fujitsu AMILO Pi 3540 Gets Centrino 2
Fujitsu's new AMILO Pi 3540 notebook is certainly no slacker when it comes to processing power as it is based on the new Intel Centrino 2 platform, offering up to 4GB of RAM. Tests run which touches on high definition content processing have shown the Fujitsu AMILO Pi 3540 to be 90% faster when it comes to encoding HD videos and a general performance increase of up to 50% when compared to its predecessors, but I'll take a few large grains of salt with such claims. Features include an eSATA port, a 15-in-1 memory card reader, 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity, a spill-proof keyboard and A+ panels that offers (claimed) superior image quality. Gotta love the way the AMILO Pi 3540 looks, as it definitely is a beauty to behold and will turn heads each time you pull it out of your notebook bag. You can pick up the AMILO Pi 3540 later next month from 699 upwards.
