UMT Marketing and Entrepreneurship Clubs host “Global Lounge” Marketing and Entrepreneurship Clubs of University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore, organized an extravaganza “Global Lounge” under the umbrella of Marketing Department, at UMT campus Lahore. This event provided practical exposure of intercontinental business culture, a resplendently entertaining glimpse into the world civilization and also offered learning opportunities for the students. Abuzar Shad, Vice President, Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was invited as chief guest for the event. The event was attended by officials of different embassies, and CEOs and managers of event sponsors. During the event, students acted as delegates of the country assigned. The list of assigned countries included Pakistan, India, Australia, China, Japan, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Spain, England, Denmark, France, Italy and many more. The delegates simulated the traditions, business ethics and unique marketing strategies by putting up stalls showcasing culture of their respective countries. For the preparation, participants were given 10 days. For entertaining the audience, various fun activities took place during the Global Lounge. These included aero modeling, cultural modeling, Peshawari dance (Attan), cultural music, tambola, funny poetry, balloon shoot, sack race, chaati race, spoon race, UMT Idol and many others.
