When the temperature outside struggles to touch the lowest mark, the heat generated by the body becomes insufficient to combat the chill. Then it needs something extra to keep it ticking healthily for the season. The following recipe will ideally solve the purpose.


4 ripe bananas cut into small pieces
8-10 dates crushed
1 cup cubes of half ripe papayas
1 cup full cream milk
1 fresh coconut grated
1 tbs sugar
4 tbs cashew
2 tbs pistacho
2 tbs butter



1 Add butter in pan. Put raw papayas and cover and cook for sometime.

2 When they become soft remove the cover and add bananas and dates.

3 Cook for two minutes. Add coconut, all the nuts and sugar.

4 Cook till the mixture starts leaving the sides of pan.

5 Add milk and cook till the milk dries up.

6 Remove from heat and serve hot or cold.
