Adnan Manderes was prime minister of Turkey between 1950 - 1960, and was hanged in by Turkish army in 1960 because he allowed AZZAN in Arabic (that was banned by Mustafa Kamal). He is dead but his name is alive, thousands of schools, roads, hospitals and even universities have been named after his name.
