The International Fund for Animal Welfare and its partner, the Wildlife Trust of India translocated 5 rehabilitated Asian elephants from the IFAW Wildlife Rescue Center in Kaziranga to their release site at Manas National Park in the northeast Indian state of Assam. The rescued elephants were 3-6 years old and were hand-raised for several years before making the move.
