Television and cinema content major Graphiti Multimedia is launching several projects in India over the next three-four years and has hired global creative heads to drive the initiatives, a top official has said.

"We have six projects currently in the pipeline which will be launched in the next three-four years. These are in different stages of production," said Munjal Shroff, director and chief operating officer of Graphiti Multimedia.

"These projects range from TV commercial ads to feature films," Shroff told IANS on the margins of the FICCI-Frames global convention on entertainment and media here. He, however, declined to divulge any financial details for the moment.

The company has roped in Joanna Ferrone of Honest Entertainment, who is the creator of the animated character 'Fido' for 7UP commercials.

"We will soon be launching the Fido Extreme Shots which will be 13 one-minute shorts of Fido, which will be music-driven 3D shorts," Shroff said.

Ferrone would be creating the content also for one of Graphiti's projects called 'The World of OO' targeted completely for children that will be funny, colourful spiders and bouncing baby kangaroos among others.

Besides Fido, Graphiti's other projects include a feature film 'Kulveera' in association with Turner Films.

It is also launching a feature film for children called "Krish Trish and Baltiboy" in association with the Children's Film Society of India (CFSI) based on a story about a musical trio which will narrate the story musically.

Some of its other projects are Dimple, Treehouse Set and Shlok - The Action Hero.

"Animation in India is going to go great guns. The sector is going to open up more, offering a plethora of opportunities," Shroff said.

Mumbai-based Graphiti that was set up in 1995 has created original content in terms of character designing and conceptualisation for partners like Cartoon Network, Disney and Nickelodeon among others.
