President Pervez Musharraf announced in a televised address to the nation Monday that he had decided to resign after nine years in power to avoid the threat of impeachment.

"After viewing the situation and consulting legal advisers and political allies, with their advice I have decided to resign," a grim-faced Musharraf said, backed by Pakistani flags and a portrait of the country's founder.

few say tat pervez musharaf was doing d rite thing and few said he is a criminal like fellow.....Well can any pakistani cum forward to say wats all dis fuss abt? Wel i said pakistani bcoz u r now in his reign....

infact pakistani people are very happy on his resign. musharraf had become a sign for corruption & mis management. he has destroyed integrity of many of the national institutions , including army and judiciary. he is involved in many corruption scandals.

shaukat aziz one of his friend looted this country and now he is hiding to some unknown place.

dr nasim ashraf chairman pcb , just resigned today. because he was aware that his friend mushraff is no more in the game.

similarly he appointed his friends in all institutions including PIA.

they was failed to manage and were successful in corruption.

there are long stories about his mis management and corruption.
books will be written on them InshaAllah Smile

I m not saying that i m so sad about musharraf's resign.I m not mushraf's friends or mushraf's faan

but i hope...!
if next time pakistani people see mis management and corruption they never became silent.
