what is a birthday now I wonder?
that wondrous moment in time
when a beautiful star from yonder sky
decides to grace earth's lovely face

a timeless moment of divine grace
when the beauty and wonder of God
subtle yet awe inspirigly wondrous
is laid open for us to admire and gaze

So many beautiful stars in heaven
are so many lovely flowers on earth
beauty, charm and divine grace
for one and all to enjoy and ponder

so each and every birthday is precious
sacred and to be celebrated
for it means we are indeed blessed
in turn to bless heaven and earth
