Police in Cincinnati are searching for a man they say is overdue for his 102nd arrest.
Timothy Akers was charged in early April with using a stolen credit card, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported. He allegedly went on a shopping spree in CVS on March 18 with a card taken from an 81-year-old woman during a burglary.
Akers, 40, was on parole at the time and is also considered a parole violator. Authorities say he was released in 2008 after serving more than three years for a holdup at a Cincinnati-area hamburger stand.
Records show that Akers had served at least four short prison terms for crimes that included theft, domestic violence and assaulting another prison inmate. Steve Barnett, a spokesman for the Hamilton County sheriff's department, said that Akers has been in the county jail 36 times since 1997, including a number of times when he was charged but not convicted.
