Alizee Jacotey French Singer Vigor of The Perfect Young Voic
Alizee Jacotey, the well known French singer was born on 21st August 1984 in Ajaccio Corsica. She started off her career as a professional dancer. She got herself trained in Corsica’s popular dance school named Ecole du Spectacle de Monique Mufraggi. She was a proficient dancer and was an expert in tap, ballet, jazz, flamenco and other forms of dancing.
Slowly she diverted herself to singing as she gave her winning performance in the TV talent show named Graines de Star. Mylene Farmer and Laurent Boutonnat were very pleased with her performance in the show and they got the right voice they were in search for. A young fresh voice was seen in her. She made her debut album named “Gourmandises” which was given a big response in France and abroad.
In her was seen the vigor of the perfect young voice. She became popular abroad and her singing was awarded the most selling female one. The album received the “Platinum” in just three months after its release. This marked her journey to fame. She was also into a Japanese commercial. Her song “Moi Lolita” won everyone’s hearts.
Then she came up with another studio album in 2003, Mes Courants Électriques, and later a live album — Alizée En Concert — in 2004. Even though the albums have portrayed her in a sexy, lolita-like image, Alizée had a "squeaky-clean public image as the perfect teenager" during her teens.
She has taken part in various stage shows and live performances throughout France, Europe, Asia and Russia, and has also starred in a Japanese television commercial. Alizée toured France during the fall of 2003, performing 43 concerts throughout France, along with Belgium and Switzerland. Though not nearly as popular in North America as she is in much countries of Europe, Asia and LatinAmerica; Alizée`s dance from "J`en Ai Marre" was the influence for the Night Elf female dance in video game WOW (World of Warcraft).
Alizée married fellow French singer Jeremy Chatelain in late 2003. Since her marriage she took a break from singing, had a baby but returned at 23 yr old with a new album, titled Psychedelices on December 3, 2007 under the RCA Records label.
Alizée is actively involved in charity work through Les Enfoirés, a group of French celebrities who organize fund-raising concerts every year. Alizée participated in these concerts in 2001, 2002 and 2008. Alizee will start her first World Tour in May 2008 in Russia, Mexico, Suisse, France and Belgium.
Following the success of Alizée En Concert and Psychédélices in Mexico, Alizée's former music label, Universal Music released a compilation album, titled "Tout Alizée". The compilation, which is a Mexico-only release, consists of 15 tracks (with 4 remixes) from her first two studio albums. It is augmented with a bonus DVD featuring some of her music videos. The compilation debuted to number sixty-two on the Mexican Top 100 Albums Chart and number-twenty on the Mexican International Top 20 Albums Chart
