Recover Your Data with Apple Time Machine
Time Machine is the breakthrough automatic backup thatís built right into Mac OS X. It keeps an up-to-date copy of everything on your Mac ó digital photos, music, movies, TV shows, and documents. Now, if you ever have the need, you can easily go back in time to recover anything.

Time Machine, like many backup utilities, creates incremental backups of files which can be restored at a later date.[1] It allows the user to then restore the whole system, multiple files, or even a single file. It works within iWork, iLife, and several other compatible programs, making it possible to restore files without leaving the application.

Time Machine allows the user to back up Apple Macintosh computers through Apple's AirPort networking (as long as the computer wishing to be backed up is not connected wirelessly), but does not support backing up to network attached storage drives. On January 15, 2008, during his keynote at Macworld, Steve Jobs introduced Time Capsule, which adds network storage capability to Time Machine and adds the ability to back up wirelessly.
